World Solo BBoy Battle

Every crew has their superstar breaker… The Solo B-Boy title offers up the floor, exclusively, for these b-boy ‘galacticos’ (elite) to display their individual skill. There will be no ‘making up the numbers’ in this battle because none but the very best can take part in this test of endurance and all round ability. They are the gladiators of the floor, the world’s best breakers from across the globe and they will battle it out, one-on-one, to establish who is the supreme solo b-boy!

World "2 on 2" Locking Battle

Four of the world’s best pairs are going to battle it out to see who is the funkiest on the planet. This funky stop and start dance called ‘Locking’ was created back in the late 60s by Don Campbell and pioneered by the dance group ‘The Lockers’. Locking is probably the least well known of the street dances so expect to be surprised by some incredible dancing, incredible routines and some incredible outfits from the highest calibre line up!

World Solo Popping Battle

The success and popularity of the World Popping Battle make it one of the most eagerly anticipated competitions at the Sony Ericsson B-Boy Championships. The Finals promise another incredible display of dance skills from the world’s best. Popping is the dance of ‘hitting’ your muscles to the beat of the music to create a snapping effect. It involves funk, illusion, mime and musicality and creates an amazing spectacle of standing dance. A heavyweight line up, including entrants from US, France, Germany, Korea, China, Japan, Russia and the UK, all capable of taking the title, will set the stage for some awesome battles.
